Dicom Port was started in 2015 by Jan Axelsson with the focus on DICOM anonymization for research.

Since the start, the focus has shifted slightly towards quality assurance in radiology with two new products, autoQA™ and REMbox™, soon to be released. Handling the DICOM format still plays an important role.

The company is now run by Jonas Andersson and Josef Lundman.
